2 Months since last post “Roller Coaster”

Back sliding into old habits. Allowing old thoughts that do not support me back into my life.

After completing the Master Key program it was like Phew!! I made it!! I did it!! Now I’m a new person, I have these amazing skills and I am more aware of me and my habits so now I can take what I have learned and continue on with life. The thing is that I was feeling tired and a little overwhelmed so I put the master key reading away. I rationalized that I don’t have the time right now and I know what to do, so I don’t have to be on top of it as much. I got this!!

Amazing how you can come so far and yet return to old familiar paths even though we know, we know where that path leads but yet still return.

Last few weeks I have been in a sea-saw battle of walking the new path and going back to old path. I have been focusing my mind more on not being negative or beating myself up. I have been changing the conversation to what moves me forward, how to move forward without struggle and why not get things done with a positive attitude.

roller coster of life

Definitely still a roller coaster ride but I do catch myself more often than not and correct my behavior and thoughts.

Got to keep moving forward.

Week 23 Live You

bee_1

When you find your true purpose and pursue that purpose with all your heart then things happen for you. Natures law happens.
Nature, as we are all a part of and cannot escape its laws like gravity will act on us. What I mean is once you have found your true passion and you diligently are working towards it, it’s in that passion things start happening for you. People, things, events, are drawn to you and nature begins to act. Like how a bee or an insect is drawn to that flower. The bee doesn’t think about it, it’s just doing what bees do. Such is what happens in our own lives once we have found our definite major purpose or our passion. Nature, the Universe begins to act because you have opened up and are living with your heart and your passion and not what others want you to do or society wants you to do but…. LIVE YOU. Your passion is the flower and like a bee, nature must follow the law, and begin to be attracted to your flower, your authentic self.

Here is where the disconnect happens. We have been given free thought, free will and we have the option to do whatever we want good, bad or indifferent. So we have the choice whether to find out what our true passion is and start to live it or we don’t. Sometimes the universe acts on us and we either choose to see or we choose not to see. The choice is always yours.

We have been conditioned since we were young to look at the negative points of view, color inside the lines, why can’t you be more like them, being compared to others, do what they do, get good grades- go to a good school – get a good job, live the life others want you to have or what society says “you need to be” otherwise you will be criticized, ridiculed, and shamed.

purple-flowers

How do we talk to ourselves? Are we not our own worst critic? Are we not always saying we’re not good enough and comparing our lives to someone or some image that is impossible to live up too? Society, Media and the Internet continue to bombard us with what we should do and be. We see on average over 2300 advertisements per day for things that will make us better, make us happy, make us content…… but they don’t.

Everyone knows someone who is not happy and not really living their lives. In the United States up to a third of the population FEELS STUCK. Dissatisfied with their lives right now. That is over 100,000,000 people!!! Not living but just going through the motions. Putting their passion, dreams, their reason to be here on hold. Most of these people will go through life never really truly living and go to their death beds with their passion still inside.

What is your passion?
What are you here to do?
What was it that you always wanted to do but felt you couldn’t?

Don’t know? Start asking yourself those questions, start sitting quietly and away from all distractions. Start listening to that voice inside of you. Start feeling again, start to LIVE YOU.

My journey is just beginning and these are some of the things I have learned and will continue to learn and apply in my own life. Undoing all the negativity, the conditioning and truly living my passion, my LIVE YOU. I have been on this journey for some time reading, learning and applying but once I found the Master Key six months ago the pieces really started to come together for me. Live your life with passion, be the person you want to be and nature will act on you and for you.

Week 21/22 Learning in the Silence

THE THINGS I AM THINKING ON IN THE SILENCE

1-22-2012-thinking-man-statue

what are you holding back?

what would the person you are ment to be do?

LOT —— Learn——-Observe——-Think

auto emotional response through environmental conditioning and habits. (Are you reacting out of emotion or have you thought why your reacting this way and why you are reacting this way?)

looking for approval is fear based

trying to control things and everything around you is fear based

doing to much and overfilling your plate is EGO driven. It is NOT about everyone else and what they want YOU to do. Instead focus on the main thing (YOU).

What is your DARMA, your hearts focus, where you find contentment

Whats your purpose??????

WHAT WOULD THE PERSON I INTEND TO BECOME DO NEXT?

Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change

WHAT AM I PRETENDING NOT TO KNOW?

WHAT WOULD THE PERSON I INTEND TO BE DO NEXT?

There are always two sides, we get what we focus on so choose to stand on the edge and look at both sides.

The learning and awareness can INSPIRE us but simultaneously trigger SELF-DOUBT.

Stepping out of myself. Observing *** Questioning *** Choosing More, a Bigger Path, a Bigger Goal, a chance to put myself out there into the unknown….vulnerable.

Finding your inner purpose, passion, noble duty/service that is yours. Then sharing that gift with the world.

What does it take to live that purpose?

Attention, Understanding, Learning, Observation, Thinking, Applying, Living, Teaching

Do you realize that when you push into the uncomfortable zone you learn and grow. You may not like it now but with practice you will learn to push yourself. Let go of the EGO and “what everyone will think” mentality engage yourself in understanding your feelings and focus on your definite major purpose in life. By putting the true and authentic you out there you end up attracting and bringing the people you need to meet you.

The laws of the universe are laws and like gravity always are and never waver. So does it not make sense to learn the laws and apply the laws? Apply the laws so that you are are in flow and have them working for you rather than against you? Then you need to learn the rules and work with them so that you win in your life and disconnect from what you were programed to believe, act and respond.

I have always had a hard time as I would take on others emotions or try to change their emotions/moods. I was always trying to please everyone and cheer people up or help them solve their problems. In the end I ended up using my energy on them and had nothing left for me. Now I know it’s their path, their life and I still assist but I don’t take on their struggles anymore trying to fix them. I don’t need to fight others battles. (Thinking more and not just reacting)

JUST SITTING & THINKING………………

Week 20 My Cage

mqdefault

Time to push.

Time to keep the focus

Time to be Me! The true Me, not what someone wants Me to be

Time to let go of the past

Time to get out of the comfort zone

Time to recognize what the fear, the guilt, the anger, the hurt feelings and unworthiness are doing to me

Time to sing for me

Time to sing my own melody

Time to do more than survive

Time to thrive

I’m sick of standing on the sideline of my own life. Every day doing the things & robotic tasks that I’m suppose too. Where did my life go? What happened to my dreams? Where is my passion!??

Who am I??

No really who am I???

I never knew, I never knew that my cage. The cage I built around me was not to keep everything bad out but was built to keep me in. A prisoner of my own design.

I never realized that my cage was never locked.

I never realized that my cage never had a door.

I never realized that there is no cage at all.

It’s all me, it’s all what I believed was there holding me back

I’m Alive!!!!

Today I’m alive!!

Now I learn how to be truly free

Learn to be truly ME.

Week 19 Yin-Yang Natures Law

Yin-Yang

Yin-Yang

The yin-yang symbol represents opposite chi energies that can’t exist without each other. The black curve, with its white dot, stands for femininity, cold, night, matter, softness and passivity, while the white curve represents masculinity, spirit, heat, day, hardness and activity.

I have been reading more and revisiting a few of the writings. One in particular is “Emerson’s Law of Compensation”

Reading this over I found some understanding of what he was trying to communicate. Ralph Waldo Emerson, wrote this in 1841 and is very relevant today and maybe even more so with all the distractions we have at our disposal thanks to technology and advancements in modern society. We seem to be molded more by our surroundings and peers than ever before, not taking the time to stop unplug and think. Actually think.

Emerson talks about “POLARITY, action and reaction, we meet in every part of nature; darkness and light; in heat and cold; ebb and flow of waters; male and female; in the inspiration and expiration of plants and animals…”

“Whilst the world is thus duel, so is every one of its parts. The entire system of things gets represented in every particle.”

This just struck me that as I try to live my life on the linear path of how I see things playing out and trying to control so many variables and keep the bad away and keep moving towards the good in my life. I keep trying to control the outcomes and seek to separate, only thinking of and focusing on the one side of things believing that I can have only the good and that my life will have less bad due to my conscious focus on the good, but it is impossible. We must own both the good and the bad, the success and the failure and understand that both are together in balance and fighting it is a waste of time, energy and well being.

Nature always seeks balance, when out of balance it will balance itself. It is a law and like gravity you cannot fight it. So regardless of what you do in your life there will always be balance in some form or another. So when I get angry when things don’t go my way or frustrated. I am using up my energy and expressing a lot of emotion on something that I don’t have any control over. If i just understood that it comes with the territory and to learn from that mistake, that frustration, or set back and try not in invest so much of my energy into those events that I would be more happy and content in my life.

There is another part to this natural balance that Emerson talks about and that is you get what you give.

“All things are double, one against another.-Tit for tat; eye for an eye; tooth for a tooth; blood for blood; measure for measure; love for love. – Give and it shall be given you.-He that watereth shall be watered himself.- Thou shalt be paid exactly for what thou hast done, no more, no less.- Curses always recoil on the head of him who imprecates them.”

“Our action is overmastered and characterized above our will by the law of nature”

What I do, what I say, what I even think or dwell on brings that reflection into my life. Think negatively about others or myself and those acts begin a magnetism that attracts that to us. So I’m focused on positive and not acknowledging the other pettiness of the past or of how I was in the past. I start off with a new way of thinking and acting that has begun to lift the stress off my shoulders and allow me to have understanding of how the universe/world/nature works. I don’t need to react to what the outer world presents but to understand that I control me, my inner world and by doing that the outer world’s grip is loosened, my emotion, my thinking, my reaction are mine.
